HOME THEATER PRICING

Although it is impossible to guess what a project will cost before design work is completed you can apply a general cost per linear foot to get in the ballpark. Typical pricing for home theater cabinetry starts at minimum of $1,000 per lineal foot and goes up from there, depending on design, materials and features. Using that formula a paint grade unfinished unit that spans a five feet wide by seven feet high alcove may cost $5000. The same sized piece in an exotic wood with many drawers, pocket doors and finished sides may cost $8000.00 / $10,000.00.

Keep in mind that projects shown in this gallery represent just a few of the possibilities when commissioning Home Theater and Entertainment Center furniture or cabinetry. This price and description list will give you a sense of what similar projects may cost. Included in each Project Price are: Site visits / meetings, design and working drawings, all materials and construction, delivery and installation.  When I quote a project after design work is complete it will be for everything it takes to complete the approved design.

All the work pictured is of original design and was fabricated one time for the commissioning client. All prices are approximate since all of my work is custom built to customer criteria. Listed prices represent current (August 2008) project costs and are based on cost of material, labor and overhead. Keep in mind that the scale, site constraints, details of construction, materials and distance from my shop will effect your individual project price. Also be aware that quality of my work cannot be properly represented with low-resolution web photographs.
